Cyber-Thief Showdown is a book concerning internet safety. The main character Geronimo Stilton, encounters a cyber-thief who hacks into his identity on the internet and starts to ruin his reputation. While defending his character, Geronimo Stilton receives a bunch of expensive and useless packages he has not ordered. At this point in the book, it is pretty obvious that the cyber-thief's goal is to ruin Geronimo's life, including his status in the community. Later when things get worse, this situation leads him to Professor Margo Bitmouse, a well-known computer expert. She uses clever ways to help Geronimo find the culprit. Although I believe that the climax of the book is quick and snappy, the book is still funny and a good mystery. While reading it, the end was very hard to figure out, and when it came, it was quite surprising. I found this book very mysterious and hard to put down. I would rate this book 4/5.
