A New & Noteworthy pick. Travel from the cabarets of bohemian Paris to the battlefields of war-torn Europe during WWII. Based on the true story of a Vogue model who became a war photographer.

Poorly written, boring book about a lively time in Paris (late 1920's) and the artists found there. It did not have to be such an uninteresting read and the characters did not have to be as unsympathetic as Whitney Scharer's novel makes them.
