I did like this book, but it is quite convoluted. Keep a note pad to track the Ukrainian and Russian names, and don't sip any alcohol while reading this book. Also have a dictionary to look up words such as 'deracinate' and 'micturate.'

'Resistance' by WSJ reporter Kim Strassel covers much of the same ground but is shorter and easier to follow (350 pg. vs. about 220 pg.)

Collusion was written with a prosecutors eye for keeping facts straight. McCarthy provides perspective throughout by contextualizing what was going on as the collusion uproar proceeded. Example: Clinton & Trump investigations differed (one was a criminal investigation the other was a counterintelligence investigation), why they were treated differently by various government agencies and how a neutral viewpoint looks at matters.

Key facts are presented in a readable fashion with one heads up - author likes long sentences.
If you’re interested in the Obama-Clinton-Trump-Deep State politics from this era this book is a riveting read.
