Great book! I read it cover to cover with my first pregnancy and used several of the pain management strategies while in labor. I checked it out again with my second pregnancy to refresh and it was helpful again.

This book was wonderfully written so that, for someone with no budget to attend special birthing classes, still felt like I was right there with others taking her Mindful Birthing class. I enjoyed the stories shared and the weekly instructions are easy to follow at home or on your own time. I'm hoping that by using her pain management practices, that my labor experience will be a more positive (and mindful) one.
