Vividly illustrated and a good pick for the themes of personal development and self acceptance. This title is a Goodreads Choice Awards Nominee for Picture Books in 2020. Check it out and see if you're a purple person! I think I'm a purple person, or at least violet. :)
Good book to read to preschoolers about staying true to yourself.
It was so good and I liked it. It was a little boring but I would tell others about it. It was about being purple. [3 year old's review]
I know reviews are mixed online, but I loved this story. It may not have delved deep into racism like a lot of people expected, but I still thought it was a fantastic way to shine a light on kindness and being a helper and being true to yourself. I think it’s great to tell children to laugh and love and ask a ton of questions. The images were also adorable and full of snot and laughter.
