My 10 year old likes reading it. It is a chapter book (close to 150 pages) but the illustrates are pretty cute that attract kid to read more.

I was having a hard time getting my 7-year old to read but after trying MANY books this one he sat down and read for longer than his required reading time, and finished it is just a few days. I didn't read the book myself but it must be good if he wanted to read the WHOLE BOOK!

Incredible series.

This might be the most perfectly dry, deadpan book ever written. Mac--in brief, matter-of-fact, journalistic statements--shares a series of absurd, wacky events from his youth when the Queen of England called upon him to become an international spy. And it is most wonderfully amusing. Read it.

My six year old son and I loved the humor in this book. We should remind you that this is a true story. No fake news here folks. It's a little know fact that the Queen of England sometimes calls kids for help spying and retrieving stolen treasure. Look it up.

Mac Barnett is so creative and funny. I was laughing out loud by page 3!
