Add a CommentA lovely picture book that reminds us that although we may not look the same, speak the same language, or live the same lives, our hearts and smiles are the same, and deep down we all share the same feelings. Therefore, we must recognize our similarities and celebrate the bonds that unite us all.
My son and I really enjoy reading this heartwarming book together.
One of my 3 year olds favourite books
?Little one,/Whoever you are,/Wherever you are,/There are little ones just like you,/
All over the world./Their skin may be different from yours/
And their homes may be different from yours..." So begins this gorgeous, classic, quietly beautiful book that will have preschoolers imagining their connections to kids all over the world. Hushed, magical, and reassuring, this makes a great bedtime or naptime read (and will also work in a calm moment at storytime).
