Two men stand in front of the Lewis and Herzog Store in Parker, Colorado. The store is a one-story building with a false front, double hung windows and a screen door (a child looks out the door) in the front. The building has box and strip siding and a brick chimney. Three horse drawn vehicles including one buggy, one buckboard wagon and another wagon with a milk pail in it are in the front of the building and are tied to a hitching post. There is a telegraph pole in front of the building. A sign on the top of the building reads "McCormick Harvesting Machines".
