Log Jarre Creek School, in use from 1888-1908 at the mouth of Jarre Canyon near Highway 67 west of Sedalia. The building has a gabled roof with a chimney and double hung windows. Wooden steps lead up to the front door of the building. Children and women pose outside the building. One young man is holding a horse by the reins. The women and girls wear ankle length dresses.
