With "That Darn Cat!" (from 1965) being clearly targeted at an audience of easy-to-please kids, I, for one, found my overall patience with this picture's story being challenged, over, and, over, and, over, again.

Yes. There were some OK moments in Disney's "That Darn Cat!" that actually held my interest, momentarily. But, for the most part - Predictability and improbability went hand-in-hand far too often with this one.

And, with that in mind - This decidedly silly comedy did not satisfactorily alleviate my growing boredom for more than just a few brief minutes at a time.

Get out your detective kit and enjoy the renowned Disney classic, “That Darn Cat!” This film stars the famous Dean Jones and Hayley Mills. It also includes a wonderful supporting cast consisting of Roddy McDowall, Tom Lowell, William Demarest, and Frank Gorshin. Fans of Disney comedies will laugh out of their seats while watching this comedy gem! Fans will even enjoy the title song sung by Bobby Darin!

I have more nostalgic attachment to the frequently goofy and cheesy live action Disney movies than to the more celebrated animated films. "That Darn Cat!" was one of their two cat-driven comedies, the other being "The Cat from Outer Space." Disney regulars Haley Mills and Dean Jones following a cat you knows about a robbery. It's as wacky as it sounds! The great supporting cast includes Bride of Frankenstein Elsa Lanchester, original Riddler Frank Gorshin, Preston Sturges vet William Demarest, and Roddy McDowall.

This movie is Disney's "That Darn Cat" (1965) version. It is quite funny and a good family movie.
If you get the chance, you should check out the 1997 version as well.

Saw this movie over the weekend and it's a great movie for cat lovers. Just when you think you know a cat, you don't. D.C. is awesome I love his profile picture and the paw print stamping spectacle. Agent Kelso is too funny. Highly recommend this movie for all ages.

Great family movie. My grandkids won't stop watching it. I have ordered a copy, but will keep taking this one out until it arrives.

I would advise anyone who chooses this to do themselves and their family a favour. Check out the other one (With Dean Jones, Roddy McDowall, Hayley Mills, etc). My family rated it much funnier and had me switch this one off; so they could watch the other one, again.
