Dr. Alexander's home was a two story wooden structure with an attached one story smaller building. Both parts of the building have steeply pitched gable roofs. The two-story part of the building has gingerbread trim, double hung windows, and two brick chimneys. The one story part of the building has a porch with trim and one brick chimney. A picket fence surrounds the property. Trees in the yard are seasonal. Vines grow on the window in the one story section and on the porch. Photo taken from the side. Woman sits in a wheelchair next to the house. Dr. Alexander began his medical practice in Castle Rock shortly after moving there in 1893, and continued practicing medicine until his death.
