Meat market owned by Elmer Valentine Blunt, Henry Manhart, and eventually Failing and Fallis. The meat market is made up of two buildings. One building has a gabled (pitched) roof, two stories, a chimney, and a covered front porch. The other building, which is attached, is two stories. This building has log construction and a covered porch on the first level and a false front with a small window on the second level with a sign "Meat Market" painted on it. The second building also has a chimney. The first floor of this building has two windows (one has a sign advertising "chickens and fruit") and a screen door. Two men are standing on the porch of the second building. One is wearing a long white apron, the other is wearing a hat and a long coat. The building is now the "Jarre Mart" convenience type store on Highway 67.
