Three men and a boy stand in front of the door to a blackmith shop in Sedalia, Colo. The men and boy are wearing overalls, one wears a pocket watch. Two dogs and a bicycle are in the front of the door as well. The building is long, one story with a pitched tin roof, a brick chimney, three double-hung windows on the side and a false front. The building has vertical plank siding which is unpainted. There is a large double door in the center of the building. Two smaller buildings are attached to the left side of the building, one has vertical siding, the other has clapboards (horizontal siding.) Signs on the building advertise Velvet Tobacco, Spencer Tobacco, Prince Albert, "T.G. Manot Wagon", "Peter Schott" "L.G. Maas Shoeing and Jobbing" and "L.A. Dow Blacksmith and Wagonwork" Building was on Plum Avenue in Sedalia, west of Manhart's store near Karcher Street.
