Two photos of a steam passenger train, one approaching, and one from behind. The number on the train is 731. In the second photo, a man stands waving on the rear platform of the train. The train is moving past the depot in Sedalia. The depot is one story with horizontal siding, a gabled roof and a chimney. Barrels and wagon wheels are set outside the door of the depot. Bunting is hanging from the depot. Railroad tracks are visible in the foreground. Then Governor Roosevelt (New York) came through Douglas County in 1900 on a whistle-stop tour as part of his campaign for vice president.
