The Maddox family standing outside their home in Sedalia. Mr. Harry Maddox was the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Station Agent in Sedalia and Castle Rock. The house is a one story structure with a gabled roof and a brick chimney. Two double hung windows in the front, and another on the side, with a door on the front with a transom. The house is of frame construction with clapboards. A telephone or telegraph wire is on the house near the door. There are flowerpots on the two stumps in the front of the house near the front door steps. Two men, three women and a child pose near the house.
