Two story Manhart Store with three windows across the front of the second story. This building is attached to the one story older part of the store to the east. The larger two-story part of the building is made of stone, and the one story part of the building is made of wood. The lower level of the two story building is mostly glass, with large windows and recessed doors. A variety of boxes and crates are visible on the front porch of the buildings. A wagon is in front of the newer part of the building, a convertible automobile is to the right in front of the newer part of the building. A windmill and a water tower are in the back of the building. The frame house has a pitched roof, a brick chimney, gingerbread trim and a front porch with balusters. Four windows surround the front of the house, which has a door in the center. The yard is surrounded by a wooden fence. The family stands in the yard and on the porch. Small trees are growing in the yard. Denver and Rio Grande Railroad tracks (with third rail) are in the foreground.
