As with most of Griffin's books, there tends to be a lot of repetition (from different characters' points of view), and the plot meanders along leading up to a quick finish, almost as if he is coming up on his deadline. However, I enjoy the characters and plotlines, so can forgive those things. A typical Griffin read and still quite enjoyable.
