not a review, a question. i was #1 in line to get the next of the 3 copies within mult co lib system - an order i put in about a month ago?. i just checked now and pressed more info? or something and now i am #11 in line?
i really wish websites would stop "upgrading /improving" - all of them, all the time; it's maddening!!!!
inevitably the sites are less user friendly. all should be tested on someone outside of the system, like a regular library user. i have no clue what your shelf thing is, yeah, yeah, i could read the tutorial but when you have to do something that you are not interested in (learning some new tech thing - UGH), and do it w/every site you go on
i spend half of everyday bogged down dealing w/some computer issue, or trying to update passwords, being FORCED by google, microsoft, windows to spend MY time doing stuff i hate. god, can everyone just STOP!!!1

I'm on disc three and still waiting for something to happen. Slow and boring.

I'm addicted! (<--thankfully only to this show, and not Heisenberg's product) Interesting new characters, including the hilariously slimy shyster, Saul. I would've liked to have seen Danny Trejo's character developed a bit more, but c'est la vie. Jesse's partner in crime, Jane, however, I did not feel the same about. Felt bad for her Dad. On to season three. FIVE STARS.

Walt and Jesse, Tuco, Hank, Skylar, Saul or Jane- Pick a character...so addictive!! Episode 13 (last one) WOW!

An extremely violent show (not at all my usual cup of tea). If you are able to stomach (or fast forward :-) )the bloody scenes, you'll be able to enjoy it. the acting and writing are very good. I got completely addicted to it after watching just a few episodes.

The plot thickens... The writers of this show really deserve a lot of credit. I mean, where do they come up with this stuff?? This season is not as great as the first but it still holds all the suspense and nail-biting plots.

Walter:
Adjusting for inflation - good state college - adjusting for inflation, say $45,000 a year, two kids, four years of college...$360,000. Remaining mortgage on the home, $107,000. Home equity line, $30,000, that's $137,000. Cost of living, food, clothing, utilities, say two grand a month? I mean, that should put a dent in it, anyway. 24K a year provides for, say, ten years. That's $240,000, plus 360 plus 137...737. $737,000, that's what I need. That is what I need. You and I both clear about 70 grand a week. That's only ten and a half more weeks. Call it eleven. Eleven more drug deals and always in a public place from now on. It's doable. Definitely doable.

[Talking to Skyler after Walt introduced his wife to Saul] Walter never told me how lucky he was. Clearly his taste in women is the same as his taste in lawyers : only the very best... with just a right amount of dirty!

If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

Did you not plan for this contingency? I mean the Starship Enterprise had a self-destruct button. I'm just saying.

As to your dead guy, occupational hazard. Drug dealer getting shot? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's been known to happen.

Saul mistook Jesse as his client and proceeded to talk monetary terms for his compensation: Saul Goodman: I'm gonna get you a second phone call, OK? You're gonna call your mommy or your daddy or your parish priest or your boy scout leader, and they're gonna deliver me a check for $4650.00. I'm gonna write that down on the back of my business card. Four, Six, Five, Zero, OK? And I need that in a cashiers check or a money order, doesn't matter. Actually, ah, I want it in a money order and ah, make it out to "Ice Station Zebra Associates." That's my loan out. It's totally legit... its done just for tax purposes. After that we can discuss Visa or Mastercard, but definitely not American Express, so don't even ask, alright? Any questions?
