This is the third Book in the trilogy. The first book about the First world war was an education. It set the stage for several families in Britain, Russia, and the USA. The second book about the second world war upset me. It was as if Canada did not exist. I was glad my Father is no longer alive to read that everything was accomplished by the USA. This, the third book told me why. It brought back many memories of the times of my young years. And most pointedly outlined how Communism and Conservatism are so alike. In the end I enjoyed this book.
