Twenty-six year old Auburn Reed is out in the city with a certain future in mind. With a stable job and happiness, Auburn seems as if she can do anything. But when she loses her job, she’s in search for another one automatically and finds an art studio hiring an employee. But this art store isn’t just any art store. The public can write personal confessions on slips of paper and the artist of the studio paints the confessions on canvas. Auburn meets the artist, Owen, and instantly they both feel a connection and attraction to each other. This amazing romance novel is one of my favourites, and it shows how Owen and Auburn fall in love with each other while finding each other’s harsh pasts. I would rate this book a 5/5. I recommend this book for ages 14 and up. - @ilovefood of The Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
